NICEVILLE, Fla.  – The Northwest Florida State women's basketball team returns to action this weekend with a road game in Macon, Georgia, against Central Georgia Tech. The Raiders aim to extend their perfect start and improve to 13-0 on the season.

The team is coming off a weeklong break, having last played on December 7 in a dominant 74-26 home victory over Jones College. In that game, Nevaeh Scott (14 points), Kyla McBride (11 points), and Deborah Davenport (11 points) led the scoring effort for the Raiders.

As they approach the holiday break, the Raiders are focused on closing out the first half of their season with a pair of wins—starting with Saturday's matchup in Georgia and followed by another game on Tuesday.
