
Raiders Remain Perfect with Blowout Win Over Bishop State
PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Northwest Florida State women's basketball team extended their unbeaten streak to 10-0 on Friday with a dominant 84-44 victory over Bishop State at the Pensacola Thanksgiving Classic.
The Raiders seized control early, jumping out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter and finishing the period ahead 24-14. Their momentum carried into the second quarter, where they poured in 25 points to build a commanding 49-23 lead by halftime.
The second half mirrored the first, as the Raiders maintained relentless defensive pressure and controlled the boards. Their dominance on both ends of the court created consistent scoring opportunities, which they capitalized on with ease.
By the final buzzer, Northwest Florida had cruised to a 40-point win, reinforcing their early-season dominance and perfect 10-0 record.
KEY PERFORMERS
- Kyla McBride led the way with a career-high 20 points, complemented by six rebounds and three blocks in a standout performance.
- Sydney Bradley came off the bench to deliver a personal-best 16 points, providing a crucial spark for the Raiders.
- Mekhia Chase continued her consistent scoring streak, notching 13 points for her seventh double-digit game of the season. She also added three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
- Jade Ondineme posted her fourth double-digit performance of the season with 12 points, while also contributing six rebounds and two steals.
