Raiders Set to Host Southern Crescent College Monday Inside Raider Arena

NICEVILLE, Florida – Northwest Florida State women's basketball is back at home for another game this week, looking to secure their 11th straight win against Southern Crescent College Monday night in Raider Arena.

The Raiders are coming off a blow-out victory over East Mississippi Friday night, defeating the Lions 93-49 for their second time this season, bringing them to a perfect 6-0 on the year. This marks the seventh straight year in which the Raiders have started a season 6-0 and will look to make it 7-0 against the Tigers on Monday.

 

TIP OFF  

Northwest Florida State and Southern Crescent are set to square off in Niceville, FL at 5:30 PM from Raider Arena.

Ticket information and prices for general admission are as follows: Adults $10, Children (K-12) $5, Small Children (Pre-K and under) Free, NWF Faculty, Staff and Students get in free by presenting their RaiderCard ID.

 

LAST WEEK

  • NWF defeated East Mississippi for the second time this season last Friday by a score of 93-49.
  • Mekhia Chase led the team in points with 18, while adding three rebounds, two assists and three steals to her stat sheet.
  • Jaela Davis and Destiney McPhaul also had nice games, each scoring 17 points for the contest, with Davis matching a career-high seven steals.
  • Celia Riviere recorded her third double-double of the season, scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
  • The Raiders shot an even 50.0% from the field, 14.3% from three and 64.3% from the free throw line.
