PANAMA CITY, Florida – It was another statement with for Bart Walker and his team on Saturday in Panama City as Northwest Florida rolled passed Central Georgia Tech on Saturday with a 82-36 victory, bringing the Raiders to 2-0 on the season.

 

Deborah Davenport led the way for the Raiders with 12 points while Jaela Davis and Stephanie Mosley played a part with 10 points each in the Raiders win on Saturday.  

 

The Raiders were able to take a 32-point lead into the half after shooting an staggering 59.4% from the field and holding the Titans to just 31.3% in the half.

 

The Raiders used a 28 point second quarter and 22 points fourth quarter to help widen their lead over the Titans and ultimately finished the day shooting 52.6% from the field, 40.0% from three and 62.1% from the free throw line. They also held the titans to under 30.0% shooting for the day and didn't allow them to make a single three.

Northwest Florida is back on the road this Tuesday to take on East Mississippi at 5:30 before coming back home for their season opener Nov. 10 against Miami Dade.
