
Six Raiders Ranked on World Exposure Report Preseason List

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Six Northwest Florida State women's basketball players were ranked in the top 20 on World Exposure Report's 2022 Junior College Player Rankings list, including the top student-athlete in the nation.
Last-Tear Poa, the reigning NJCAA National Tournament MVP, was tabbed as the top junior college women's basketball player in the country.
Poa averaged 12.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 18 games last season. It was in the national tournament, however, that the Australian glowed the brightest. In her four games in Lubbock, Poa averaged 16 points on 21-of-46 shooting to go along with 13 assists and six steals.
Eastern Florida State transfer Natalia Beaumont landed at No. 8, while former Rutgers forward Aicha Ndour was ranked No. 11.
Wake Forest transplant Nevaeh Brown (No. 13), along with returners Masengo Mutanda (No. 19) and Inès Piper (No. 20) all earned their way into the top 20.
In total, nine Panhandle Conference players were recognized with NWF being the only program in the country with more than three athletes on the list.
