SWAINSBORO, Ga. – Northwest Florida State women's basketball kicked off the 2021 season with a 70-59 road victory over East Georgia State on Wednesday.

Masengo Mutanda, playing in her first game since Nov. 2, 2019, scored 21 points on a 9-of-14 effort. Kynadi Kuykendoll was efficient scoring 10 points on a trio of 3-pointers to go along with four assists and four rebounds.
