BOSSIER CITY, La. – No. 4 Northwest Florida women's basketball won its 49th consecutive non-conference game with an 86-47 victory over Bossier Parish in the Bossier Classic Tuesday.
The Raiders (15-0) raced to a 23-9 lead after the first quarter and outscored the Cavaliers 47-14 in the second half en route to the team's sixth win of 30 points or more.
Northwest Florida got a monster performance from Chanaya Pinto, who led all players with 21 points and 15 rebounds, her second double-double of the year. Pinto was 5-for-12 from the field and 10-of-12 from the free throw line.
Rayven Peeples scored 14 points, while Fapou Semebene also finished with a double-double scoring 12 points with 12 rebounds.
The Raiders haven't lost a non-conference game since Dec. 3, 2016. NWF will look to make if 50 straight as the squad takes on New Mexico at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
