TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – No. 4 Northwest Florida moved to 7-0 with a 62-41 win over Snow College on Saturday in the Courtyard Downtown Capital Classic.
The Raiders (7-0) were led offensively by Gabriela Sales with 13 points on a 4-for-8 effort from the field. Four players scored eight points paced by Reneasha Payton and Fapou Semebene, who finished with eight points and seven rebounds each.
Northwest Florida led by as many as 37 and took a 56-19 lead into the fourth quarter before Snow made a late push. The Raiders knocked down nine 3-pointers and capitalized on its opportunities scoring 16 second-chance points.
Snow (5-3) got a team-high 11 points from Sydney Pilling and 10 points from Colleen Katoa.
Northwest Florida returns to action Nov. 29-30 when it travels to Rome, Ga., for the Georgia Highlands Classic.
