TYLER, Texas – No. 5 Northwest Florida women's basketball improved to 3-0 on the season with a 55-49 victory over Angelina on Saturday to wrap up play in the Tyler Classic.
Fapou Semebene turned in her second consecutive double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Chanaya Pinto and Rayven Peeples had 11 points and five rebounds each.
Reneasha Payton chipped in with eight points and Gabriela Sales finished with seven.
The Raiders return home to host the NWF Classic on Nov. 15 and 16. NWF will take on USC Salk and Denmark Tech, respectively.
