Hill, Parson Combine to Shutout Warhawks

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Ivey Hill and Lauren Parson combined to shutout Coastal Alabama – East in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday, 8-0. The Raiders won the second game running away, 10-2.

Hill tossed four innings of one hit softball before turning it over to Parson, who struck out the side in the fifth.

Gabrielle Fischetti was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Lele Martinez added two hits and a pair of runs batted in. Abby Sulte was 2-for-3 with two runs scored on the day.

Amber Divine and Bailey Cox finished with two hits, two runs scored, and an RBI each.

Northwest Florida 10, Coastal Alabama – East 2

Northwest Florida (19-7) scored six runs in the second inning en route to a 10-2 victory in the second game of the doubleheader.

Sckylier Baronet homered to lead off the second and after NWF loaded the bases, Hill doubled on a line drive to center to plate two more runs.

Ashley Fogg doubled home a run in the fourth to cap the scoring for the Raiders.

Katie Walters struck out five and gave up one run over four innings of work to earn the win.

Northwest Florida travels to face Calhoun on Thursday. First pitch is set for noon.
