Rase Tosses Perfect Game as Raiders Roll Over Carl Sandburg

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida did a little bit of everything in a pair of wins over Carl Sandburg at the Raider Softball Complex on Monday.

Northwest Florida 9, Carl Sandburg 0

Lauren Rase struck out four batters and did not allow a base runner as the sophomore tossed the first perfect game of her career.

The Raiders (23-8) belted three home runs marking the second time hitting three or more round trippers in a game this season. Jazmine Lamug, Abby Sulte, and Amber Divine all went deep for NWF.

Lele Martinez, Sulte, Gabrielle Fischetti, Divine, and Lumug all finished with two hits each.

Northwest Florida 10, Carl Sandburg 2

The Raiders showed off their patience at the plate drawing 12 walks in a 10-2 win in the second game of the doubleheader. 

Ashley Autuori and Ivey Hill collected doubles while Sckylier Baronet turned in her second triples of the season.

Hill collected the win in the circle. She allowed two runs on six hits with a pair of strikeouts.

Northwest Florida is back in action on Tuesday against Carl Sandburg and Shawnee. First pitch is set for noon.
