Northwest Florida Softball Set to Battle Lurleen B. Wallace

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida softball looks to extend its home winning streak as Lurleen B. Wallace visits the Raider Softball Complex Thursday for a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.

The Raiders (15-7) have won nine straight home game dating back to last season and are 6-0 on their home field during the 2020 campaign.

NWF blasted four home runs and collected 20 hits in two victories over Enterprise State Tuesday. Lele Martinez picked up six hits on the day and Brookelyn Sweeney tossed a no-hitter in the first game followed by a two-inning save in the second.

Northwest Florida ranks sixth in the nation in runs scored (174) and home runs (26). The team is third with 91 extra base hits and 11 triples, and stands fourth with 54 doubles.
