Northwest Florida Softball Set for Doubleheader, Baseball Postponed

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida softball is set to take on Pearl River in a doubleheader at the Raider Softball Complex Tuesday. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.

Baseball was scheduled to play Lurleen B. Wallace in Andalusia, Ala., but that game has been postponed.

The Raider softball squad (11-5) is coming a 4-1 performance in the Sun Chief Classic over the weekend. Lele Martinez was phenomenal over the last week going 10-for-20 with a pair of home runs, four doubles, 11 RBIs, and 11 runs scored.

As a team, NWF hit .391 with a 1.143 OPS, scored 70 runs on 79 hits and slugged nine home runs.
