NWF Softball Set for Challenging Week

NICEVILLE, Fla.  – Northwest Florida softball travels to Alabama to take part in the Visit Dothan Invitational Thursday and Friday.

The Raiders (4-1) are slated to play four ranked teams in No. 19 Southern Idaho (3p.m.) and No. 5 Salt Lake (5 p.m.) Thursday and No. 2 Florida SouthWestern (11 a.m.) and No. 18 Wallace State (1:30 p.m.) Friday.

NWF took both games of a doubleheader against Coastal Alabama – East on Tuesday. The team combined to hit six home runs and collect 29 hits. Amber Divine and Abbey Higginbotham are tied for the team lead with a .615 average, while Makiya Giles has driven in a team-high seven runs.
