Raiders Hit the Road to Face Coastal Alabama – East

NICEVILLE, Fla. – After a scheduling change due to the threat of rain, Northwest Florida softball will travel to Brewton, Ala., to take on Coastal Alabama – East on Tuesday at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. The games were originally scheduled for Wednesday.

The Raiders (2-1) claimed a pair of victories in the JUCO Kickoff Showcase over the weekend in Clearwater. Gabrielle Fischetti lifted NWF to its second win with a two-out, walk-off single in the seventh against East Georgia Saturday.

Abbey Higginbotham turned in an impressive opening weekend going 4-for-7 at the plate with three RBIs. Ivey Hill pitched in all three games earning the victory against Fayetteville Tech.
