NICEVILLE, Fla. – After nearly a month on the road, Northwest Florida State men's basketball is set to return to Raider Arena for a matchup against Southern Union State. The Raiders will aim to secure back-to-back wins for the first time since their last home game.

This will mark the Raiders' first home game in nearly a month—and also their last home appearance of 2024. Following this contest, the team will close out the calendar year with road games before returning to Niceville on January 4, 2024, just ahead of conference play.

The upcoming matchup against Southern Union will be the second of three meetings between these teams this season and their second clash at Raider Arena.

The Raiders head into this game riding the momentum of a huge win over #2 Panola in Pensacola last week, rebounding after a tough loss to #3 Trinity Valley. While the team started strong with a 4-0 record at home, they've encountered challenges on the road, dropping three of their last five games.

In contrast, Southern Union has been on a hot streak. After early November losses to Coastal Alabama-North and Northwest Florida, the Bison have won five of their last six contests, including an impressive victory over Florida Southern this past weekend.

Tuesday night's showdown at Raider Arena will feature one team seeking to regain its footing and another eager to maintain its momentum. It's shaping up to be an exciting matchup you won't want to miss.
