Northwest Florida State men's basketball is back at home this week for another conference bout against Pensacola. The Raiders are coming off a gutsy road win last weekend in Tallahassee where the Raiders took down Tallahassee, 62-53, despite trailing at the half. The Raiders record now sits at 18-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play as they move up two spots to number six in this week's NJCAA rankings.

Pensacola enters Wednesday matchup with a 11-9 record overall and 0-3 record in conference play. The Pirates are in the midst of a rough five-game losing streak and have lost seven of their last ten games. Pete Pena and his team are not only looking to pick up their first conference win of the season tomorrow night, but they also look to secure their first win against the Raiders since March of 2021.

LAST TIME OUT

The Raiders picked up a huge road win against Tallahassee last Saturday, securing their first conference win of the season. A second half surge by Tajuan Simpkins and Jadyn Shider helped propel the Raiders to the win over the Eagles. Simpkins produced 24 points, nine rebounds and four steals for the game while Shider recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Karahan Efeoglu also played a big part in the win, scoring 13 points and hauling in seven rebounds.
