Raider Men Shine in Top Ten Matchup
The Northwest Florida Men's Basketball team led from tip-off 'til the final buzzer in a 79-63 win against #10 Pearl River. It was a complete team effort as the Raiders shot 51.9 percent from the field, created 19 turnovers on defense, and scored 26 points off the Wildcats' mistakes.
Multiple Raiders shined in Saturday's matchup, whether it was Tarryn Todd finishing AND-1's, Collin Warren bringing down the house, Tavion Banks controlling the paint with his 6 rebounds, and Kasean Pryor draining 3's.
Collin Warren led all scorers tonight with 19 points, with Kasean Pryor just behind him at 17. Takai Simpkins also scored 14 and Tarryn Todd had 13 points. The Raiders had 14 assists with Todd leading the way with 6.
#1 Northwest Florida takes the court tomorrow, November 6th at 3:00 PM with Mississippi Gulf Coast coming into town.
