NWF Men Win in a Nail Biter

 

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida men battled out another win at home, this time against Copiah-Lincoln in overtime. Co-Lin knocked down a 3 with 3.6 seconds left in the game to tie Northwest Florida at 72. Kasean Pryor's shot at the buzzer went in and out and the Raiders went to overtime.

 

Free throws were the difference in the game as Marcus Niblack went 4-4 from the charity stripe with under a minute and Kasean Pryor knocked down two more with 3.9 seconds left to win 82-79. A steal at the end of the game sealed the deal as the Raiders improved their record to 2-0. The Raiders finished at 19-25 from the free throw line while Co-Lin was 13-25.

 

Kasean Pryor filled the stat sheet tonight with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks. Collin Warren also dropped 16 points and 7 rebounds. Tavion Banks was all over the boards as he pulled down 11. The Raiders outrebounded the Wolves 47-37.

 

Northwest Florida takes the court tomorrow, November 5th at 4:00 PM in a top ten matchup with #10 Pearl River.
