NICEVILLE, Fla. – No. 12 Northwest Florida State men's basketball commanded the second half in a 93-64 win over Southern Union on Sunday in Raider Arena.
The Raiders (9-1) outscored the Bison 49-28 over the final 20 minutes en route to their sixth straight victory.
Kam Woods scored a season-high 17 points on a 6-of-11 shooting effort to go along with eight rebounds and three assists.
Deshawndre Washington and Issa Muhammad both turned in double-doubles. Washington had 13 points and 10 boards, while Muhammad finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Brennan Rigsby added 10 points and five rebounds.
Northwest Florida shot 49.4 percent (38-77) as a team and outrebounded Southern Union 47-31.
The Raiders return to action on Dec. 3 against the same Southern Union squad.
