NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida State men's basketball defeated No. 19 Odessa, 64-59, on Wednesday to finish 3-0 in the Pensacola Thanksgiving Classic.
The Raiders (7-1) trailed 32-29 at halftime but shot 52 percent over the final 20 minutes to overcome the deficit.
Deshawndre Washington once again led NWF in scoring with 14 points. Washington has been the Raiders leading scorer in three of the last four games and is averaging 14 points and 9.5 rebounds over that span.
Tre Clark was 5-of-12 from the field with a pair of three-pointers to finish with 12 points to go along with seven assists.
Northwest Florida travels to Marianna on Saturday to take on Miami Dade before returning to Raider Arena to face Southern Union on Sunday at 4 p.m.
