NICEVILLE, Fla. – No. 20 Chipola outscored Northwest Florida 50-29 in the second half en route to an 80-65 win in Raider Arena on Saturday.
The Raiders (5-8, 2-6 PC) led 36-30 at halftime after shooting 50 percent as a team, including eight three pointers over the first 20 minutes. Chipola however knocked down 17 of 31 field goals and 12 of 14 free throws to surge ahead in the second half.
Marseilles Caston paced NWF with 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting and five 3-pointers. Micah Thomas scored 13 points, while Cam Jones added 10.
Northwest Florida returns to action on Wednesday when the team travels to take on Pensacola at 4 p.m.
