NICEVILLE, Fla. – Shakwon Barrett scored a season-high 17 points, but it wasn't enough as Northwest Florida men's basketball fell, 68-61, to Chipola Wednesday in Raider Arena.
Barrett was 6-for-12 from the field and knocked down three triples to go along with three assists. Anthony Mason turned in a solid outing with 16 points and nine rebounds on 6-of-7 shooting.
The Raiders (12-9, 0-5 PC) shot 48 percent for the game, but couldn't knock down shot when they needed them most. NWF managed to hit just 3-of-14 three-point attempts in the second half and collected three offensive rebounds on the night.
Chipola (14-7, 2-3) got 20 points from Marial Mading and 18 from Lat Mayen.
Next up, NWF travels to Panama City to take on Gulf Coast on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
