Raiders Set for Bout with Coastal Alabama – North in Raider Arena
NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida hosts its lone home game in the month of December on Thursday as Coastal Alabama – North returns to Niceville for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
The matchup will be the third of four this season between Northwest Florida and Coastal Alabama – North. The Raiders defeated the Eagles, 94-65, on Nov. 9 in the NWF Classic before winning the bout in Monroeville, Ala., 80-64 on Nov. 12.
Northwest Florida (8-3) fell from the NJCAA National poll after dropping two of three games in the Pensacola Thanksgiving Classic but look to rebound at home where the team is 5-0 this season.
Seth Millner leads the Raiders with 14.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He has scored in double figures in nine of 12 games and ranks 40th in the NJCAA with 61 defensive rebounds.
NWF ranks 21st in the nation holding opponents to just 38.1 percent shooting from the field, while also standing sixth averaging 6.0 blocks per game.
