Monster Field Set for NWF Classic

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Two ranked teams and two others that are receiving votes make up the four-team field for the NWF Classic set for this week in Raider Arena. 

No. 18 Northwest Florida hosts East Mississippi (RV) Thursday and No. 3 Indian Hills Friday. Each game is set to tip at 7:30 p.m. The 5:30 p.m. slate features Gulf Coast (RV) and Indian Hills on Thursday and Gulf Coast versus East Mississippi on Friday.

The Raiders (5-1) enter the week coming off a 2-1 road trip with wins over Coastal Alabama – North and ASA Miami. Seth Millner continues to pace the squad statistically averaging 16.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. The sophomore has scored 14 or more points in six consecutive games.

East Mississippi (5-0) will play four games in five days this week and won the first two over LSU Eunice and Baton Rouge. The Lions are led by freshman forward Jakorie Smith who is averaging 19.6 points per game and is coming off a 20-point performance against Baton Rouge on Tuesday.

Indian Hills (6-0) is getting 23.3 points per game from sophomore Tyon Grant-Foster, while Chris Childs is averaging 16.0 points and three 3-pointers per game.
