Bio

Brady Smith enters his 2nd year on the Raider baseball coaching staff.

Brady Smith was born and raised in Niceville, Florida. He attended Niceville High School for three years and then went on to TNXL Academy in 2017 for his senior year. During his senior year, Smith hit .431 as a senior at TNXL with a .875 slugging percentage; had 14 doubles and seven home runs.

Smith played baseball at the University of Florida from 2018-2020 and also played in the Cape Cod Summer League, where he was a Cape Cod All-Star in the Summer of 2019. Smith played two years professionally in the Texas Rangers organization as well as the New York Mets organization. In his Sophomore year as a Gator, Smith played in 56 games and started 53 times at catcher, finishing with a .270 average, five home runs and 20 RBI. He also finished second on the team with a .392 on-base percentage.

Smith is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Family, Youth, & Community Sciences from the University of Florida.
