Raiders on a Roll, Extend Winning Streak to 8

NICEVILLE, Fla. - The Raiders have been rolling the last 11 days, winning their last 8 games, all in blowout fashion. During this current winning streak, Northwest Florida has outscored their opponents 97-14 since the 10-0 win vs. Motlow State on February 17.

 

The bottom of the lineup has played a huge part in this winning streak as the typical 7-hole Colby Jones is 11-21, with 2 doubles and 12 RBIs. 9-hole Cayden Gaskin has been on fire as of late, going 13-30, with 1 double, 1 triple, and 14 RBIs. At the top of the lineup, Tyler Lejeune has been a great leadoff hitter with an on-base % of .553. Lejeune always finds a way to get on as he has 10 hits in his last 25 at-bats with 4 doubles and 9 RBIs. Lejeune has also been walked 8 times. Kendrey Maduro has been on a terror lately, hitting 5 home runs in his last 29 ABs. Maduro has collected 16 RBIs with a .862 slugging percentage.

 

The Raiders pitching staff has shut down their opponents as well, giving up 14 runs and only 12 of them being earned. Ramsey David has been lights out for Northwest Florida as he is sporting a 0.72 ERA, making 5 appearances this season, throwing 25.0 IP.
