Northwest Florida Baseball Opens Panhandle Conference Play
NICEVILLE, Fla. – No. 2 Northwest Florida baseball opens Panhandle Conference play on the road against Pensacola Tuesday and Thursday, both set for 5 p.m.

Northwest Florida (17-4) had its nine-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, but the team is still in the midst of a hot steak having won 15 of its last 17 games.
Pitching has carried the Raiders thus far as the team has posted a 2.51 earned run average, eight-best in the nation. NWF's .193 batting average against ranks sixth in the NJCAA, while offensively the squad's 43 doubles stands 25th.
Last season, Northwest Florida took five of six games from the Pirates and have won four straight on the road against PSC.
Pensacola (12-10) snapped its three-game skid with a three-game sweep of Delgado last weekend.
