DeLucia, Martinez Earn FCSAA Honors

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida baseball's Dylan DeLucia was named FCSAA Pitcher of the Week, while softball's Lele Martinez earned Player of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.

DeLucia picked up the win against Shelton State on Friday pitching seven innings allowing one run on two hits with eight strike outs. On the season, DeLucia is 4-0 with a 0.31 ERA. He has struck out 31 batters in the 29.0 innings of work.

Martinez earned her second FCSAA Player of the Week award of the season. The sophomore batted .611 for the week with 12 runs score, two doubles, two triples, two home runs, seven runs batted in, and 11 stolen bases in six games.

The Raiders were 5-1 during the week as Martinez hit safely in five of the six games, including a 6-for-8 combined performance in a doubleheader against Enterprise State. On the year, Martinez is batting .431 with a team-best seven home runs and 29 RBIs.
