NWF Baseball Welcomes Shelton State for Series
NICEVILLE, Fla. – No. 4 Northwest Florida baseball welcomes Shelton State to the Raider Baseball Complex for a three-game series set to begin Thursday at 4 p.m. The teams will square off Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday at noon to complete the series.
The Raiders (10-3) have win eight of their last nine games, including a pair of victories over Coastal Alabama – South on Saturday.
Boasting the 19th lowest team ERA in the nation (2.72), NWF has been paced by starters Beck Way and Dylan DeLucia. The duo has combined to allow just one earned run over 44 innings. Teams are batting .202 against the Raiders staff and have struck out 130 times in 342 at bats.
Shelton State (9-2) has won 9 straight games entering the weekend, including a sweep of Gulf Coast on Saturday.
