FCSAA State Tournament Information

NICEVILLE, FL – The Panhandle Conference Champion Northwest Florida State College baseball team will begin postseason play on Friday, May 10th at the FCSAA State Tournament at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida.

The Raiders' first round matchup against the Suncoast Runners-up is set for 1pm EST.

The NJCAA D1 Gulf District/FCSAA State Baseball Tournament features an eight-team field including the winners and runners-up from the Panhandle, Mid-Florida, Suncoast and Southern Conferences. The double-elimination tournament begins Friday, May 10 and continues through Tuesday, May 14. The winner of the tournament will advance to the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado (May 25-May 31/June 1, 2019).

With a 38-10 record at the end of the regular season, the Raiders were ranked No. 3 in the latest NJCAA Division I Baseball poll. The team clinched their first Panhandle Conference title since 2011 with a 19-5 record in conference play. This is their fourth appearance at the FCSAA State Tournament in the last five years.

  • Game 1 - Mid-Florida Champion vs. Southern Runners-up, 10 a.m.
  • Game 2 - Panhandle Champion vs. Suncoast Runners-up, 1 p.m.
  • Game 3 - Suncoast Champion vs. Mid-Florida Runners-up, 4 p.m.
  • Game 4 - Southern Champion vs. Panhandle Runners-up, 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 11

  • Game 5 - Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser, 10 a.m.
  • Game 6 - Game 3 loser vs. Game 4 loser, 1 p.m.
  • Game 7 - Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner, 4 p.m.
