Farr commits to the University of South Carolina

NICEVILLE, FL - Sophomore RHP Thomas Farr committed to the University of South Carolina on Monday night.

The Tyrone, GA. native will make his way to Columbia for the 2019-20 season. He will join head coach Mark Kingston, who led the Gamecocks to a 37-26 record and a NCAA Super-Regional appearance.

As a freshman, Farr made 14 appearances on the mound for the Raiders. He started 12 of those games and earned 8 wins on the season. Farr struck out 56 batters in 67.2 innings with a 4.79 ERA.

Farr also excelled in the classroom last year. He was named a NJCAA Third Team Academic All-American and earned both All State and Panhandle Conference academic honors.
