
NJCAA Announces All-Academic and Academic Teams of the Year
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The NJCAA has announced its 2023-24 All-Academic Teams and Academic Teams of the Year, recognizing student-athletes across the country for their dedication in the classroom.
This year, a total of 12,245 student-athletes were honored for achieving a GPA of 3.60 or above. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are:
- NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
- NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
- NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA
Northwest Florida State produced 34 All-Academic Honorees, including six first-team recipients, 11 second-team and 17 third-team. The NJCAA also recognizes teams who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and, this season, all four Raider programs achieved this mark. Women's Basketball topped the group with a 3.57 GPA, followed by Softball (3.56), Men's Basketball (3.53) and Baseball (3.46). Combined, Raider Athletics finished the academic year with a 3.51 cumulative GPA.
