Raiders, Lady Raiders earn bids to NJCAA National Tournaments

NICEVILLE, FL - The NWF men's team earned an automatic bid to the national tournament after clinching the Region VIII title on Saturday night. But the Lady Raiders fell in their championship game, forcing them to wait until Selection Monday to see if they were able to earn one of the eight at-large bids.

During the NJCAA selection show, the Lady Raiders learned they were the No. 11 seed in the tournament and would be facing NOC-Enid on Tuesday, March 12th, at 12:00pm CST. The women's national tournament will take place at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. The Raider men learned they earned the top seed in the national tournament after going 3-0 against top competition in the Region VIII tournament. They will take on the winner of #16 Arizona Western/#17 Cape Fear on Tuesday, March 12th, at 2pm CST. The men's national tournament will take place at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas.
