Nine Raiders Land on All-Panhandle Conference Teams
NICEVILLE, Fla. – Nine Northwest Florida State men's and women's basketball players earned All-Panhandle Conference honors, the association announced last week.
Chanaya Pinto, Last-Tear Poa, and Masengo Mutanda were named to the first team, while Kynadi Kuykendoll and Inès Piper landed on the second team for the women's team. Bart Walker earned Coach of the Year for the league.
On the men's side, Marseilles Caston, Alonzo Gaffney, and Micah Thomas earned first team honors and Jourdan Smith was named to the second team.
Pinto was named to the first team for the second consecutive season, while Poa, who received the most votes among freshman, was the only one to land on the first team.
Caston also made a return to the first team list and Smith's second team accolades were the second straight for him.
