Raiders Visit Pensacola for Panhandle Tilt

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida men's and women's basketball travel to take on Pensacola Saturday in Panhandle Conference play. The women kick things off at 5:30 p.m. with the men scheduled for 7:30 p.m. 

The women's team is ranked No. 9 in the latest NJCAA poll after knocking off Tallahassee on Jan. 11. The Raiders (16-3, 1-2 PC) go a quality performance from Rayven Peeples, who scored a season-high 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Pensacola (13-8, 1-2) defeated Tallahassee in the team's last outing on Jan. 15 snapping a five-game skid.

The Northwest Florida men (12-7, 0-3) are still searching for their first conference victory following a 76-66 loss to Tallahassee. Marseilles Caston leads the team and ranks 18 in the league averaging 14.6 points per game. Last time out, Pensacola (13-7, 2-1) fell to Tallahassee, 78-60, on Jan. 14.
