ROME, Ga. – No. 4 Northwest Florida defeated Georgia Highlands, 74-52, on its home court on opening day of the Georgia Highlands Classic on Friday.
The Raiders improved to 8-0, including wins in all five games away from Raider Arena this season.
Fapou Semebene led the way for NWF with 18 points and six rebounds. Rayven Peeples turned in 15 points on a perfect 7-for-7 night from the floor, she also finished with five rebounds and four steals.
Reneasha Payton added 11 points and five assists. Payton has now scored in double figures in four of her last six games.
