Raiders Fall at Chipola

MARIANNA, Fla. – Chipola was red-hot in the second half shooting 63.6 percent to erase a halftime deficit and pull out a 79-66 victory over Northwest Florida State on Saturday.

Trailing 33-30 at the half, the Indians went on a 20-1 run to begin the half and take control of the game. Chipola shot 54.6 percent (30-56) for the game, including 10 three-pointers.

Micah Thomas finished with a game-high 19 points with five 3-pointers. Cam Jones had 10 points with five assists and five steals.

Northwest Florida (5-12, 2-10 PC) returns home to face Pensacola on March 17. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
